The Heavy Beat bring their rocksteady soulful dirty reggae from the far off land of Philadelphia! They pride themselves as a musical quintuplet interested in “outdated” sounds, “obsolete” technology, and “old-fashioned” hard work. The Heavy Beat released a split album with The Snails (members of Catbite) in 2012. They also released Up from the Echo Cellar in 2013.
